Eczema, also known as dermatitis, is a very common skin condition characterised by redness, itchiness and a blister-like rash on parts of the skin.

Eczema is not contagious.  The unpleasant symptoms associated with the condition can be relieved with prescription medications, specialised skin care products, and avoidance of certain irritants like perfumed shower products.
