We are proudly supporting the Special Olympics Ireland
Unicarepharmacy are proud to be an official supporter of the 2010 Special Olympics Ireland Games which take place in Limerick from the 9th to 13th of June. In April, our 72 branches ran a dedicated fundraising week, raising over €5000 for the organisation. We have also donated over €25,000 worth of health care stock to the Healthy Athletes Programme and will provide a 24hour on call pharmacy service to the athletes during the games.
We would like to officially wish all of the athletes taking part in the games the very best of luck!

Our charity of the year for 2010 is The Marie Keating Foundation.
The Marie Keating Foundation works to beat cancer through awareness, education and support services. We are very proud to work with this charity and you will find their pink collection boxes in all of our 72 branches around the country.
Last year, we were delighted to have raised over €29,000 throughout our 72 branches nationwide. A particular well done to our Omni Park SC team who raised the most money of all branches. Our aim is to double this target in 2010 through various fund raising activities throughout our branches!
Throughout the year you will find Marie Keating mobile units and nurses in our stores. Plus watch out for a packed calendar of events:
February: Beauty in Pink events taking place in selected branches. Why not book yourself a beautiful professional makeover in store with your makeover fee being donated to The Marie Keating Foundation. Check out your local branch for event details.
March: Men Keeping Fit Month
April: Team Unicarepharmacy will be taking part in the Great Ireland Run again this year in aid of The Marie Keating Foundation. The Great Ireland Run is a 10k charity run that takes place on Sunday 18th of April in the Phoenix Park in Dublin. A team of runners from both our Support Office and branches will be running this again this year in aid of our charity of the year. For more details on this run, click on the below link.
