At Unicarepharmacy our policy is to promote from within - in 2008 we had 44 internal promotions. Many of our Pharmacy Managers joined us as Sales Assistants and have progressed through the company. Our colleagues are enthusiastic, motivated and committed and we in turn support this by providing the necessary tools to enable them to reach their full potential.
As part of our team you too can develop your talent. If you join us your learning and development will begin on your first day by attending comprehensive induction training. We use a variety of tools such as performance appraisals and development plans to identify learning and development needs. A wide variety of internal training courses are available which range from OTC, Beauty, Management Development, to Customer Service Skills training. Our Distance Learning Packs provide a unique method of learning which enables colleagues to progress at their own pace. These learning packs are case studies which our colleagues complete to develop their understanding in areas such as business, OTC and Beauty. In addition our Education Assistance Programme provides an opportunity for colleagues to complete external courses which are related to their roles.
